Donate to Hurricane Katrina Relief Effort
"Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress..." — James 1:27 To that end Countryside is working alongside other Calvary Chapels all over the world to assist the thirteen Calvary Chapels and their congregations, in the Gulf Coast region of the United States, that were affected by Hurricane Katrina. Our hearts and our prayers go out to the churches in that area. A CC pastor and number of families have already lost their homes. Though we would love to go down there and help in some way, we need to let the government secure the inner-structures and then our job will be to come behind them to clean up and rebuild. Calvary Chapel Stone Mountain in Georgia will be working with the CC pastors along the Gulf Coast in Mississippi, Louisiana, and Alabama as they seek to minister to the needs of their members and the people in their areas. They will be helping to assess needs, allocate funds, and coordinate work teams. You are welcome to participate with the brothers and sisters of Countryside Christian Fellowship, and other Calvary Chapels around the world to minister as you see fit. Your donation will go to help the disaster relief effort being coordinated through Calvary Chapel. May the Lord bless you as you freely give that which you have freely received.
